The Foundation: An Artist's Forging
My path was carved at the intersection of tradition and the avant-garde. Within the hallowed halls of the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando, I learned the ancient language of line and pressure, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Engraving and Stamping. This discipline, where patience is a virtue and precision a creed, became my bedrock. My early formation at the Lycée Français de Madrid provided a canvas of broad humanistic thought.
Yet, a creator is more than their credentials; they are a collection of obsessions. I have fed mine with the structured poetry of music theory and piano, navigated the nascent frontiers of audiovisual production and Unreal Engine, and even sought a higher perspective, piloting the skies in VFR flight mode.

BUZO — Founder and Creative Director (2018 – Present)
I built a lighthouse from which to craft animated content for television, advertising, and the digital ether. It is a nomadic atelier, thriving on remote collaboration with international clients and talents—a laboratory for concept art design and the germination of original content projects, their narratives sharpened in collaboration with screenwriter Dale Schott.
Ink Apache — Co-founder and Creative Director (2004 – 2014)
I co-forged this studio as a crucible for innovation, leading a multidisciplinary creative tribe in the relentless pursuit of original animation projects and new techniques. A defining decade of shared creation.
Cartoon Network Spain (Turner) & Fox Kids Channel Spain (1997 – 2004)
In the trenches of childhood wonder, I served as a creative director, guiding teams to shape the on-air soul and branding of animation giants, my role echoing in international collaborations across Europe.
The Digital Frontier (Teknoland, 1996 – 1998)
In the dawn of the web, I was a cartographer of the new digital wilderness, designing and launching the first Disney and Fox websites in Spain.
Audiovisual Beginnings (Canal Satélite Digital & Canal+, 1992 – 1997)
My story began in television, directing and producing special programs—a vibrant apprenticeship in visual narrative exploring art, cinema, video games, and the pulse of new trends.
The Cinematic Interlude: A Passion in Miniature
My love for the frame found its purest expression in short film:
"Jadoube" (1992), awarded Best Short Film at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival.
"Interferencias" (1996), winner of the Madrid International Film Festival and showcased at numerous international festivals.
The Creator's Arsenal and Inner World
My workshop is equipped with a master's command of tools, from the Adobe Suite to Cinema 4D and Unreal Engine 5. My present curiosity is captivated by the frontier of AI-assisted creation (Stable Diffusion, Leonardo AI), tools that allow me to play as a modern-day demiurge.
I am fluent in Spanish, French, and English, but my true lexicon is that of creative direction, audiovisual production, and the art of leading projects and teams to life.
My signature is etched into series such as Animaliens, Elfy Food, and Condorito Jr., and my collaborations read as a who's who of global media: Disney, Turner, Viacom, Sony, and Canal+. This journey has been adorned with over 50 international awards, including accolades from Promax/BDA and the New York Film Festival.
Beyond the Studio Walls
When not immersed in creation, my world expands into the realms of art and technology, the enduring magic of cinema, music, and literature (with a hallowed place for graphic novels), and the intricate puzzles of history and geopolitics. I recharge the spirit through motion—swimming, horseback riding, skiing, tennis, and scuba diving—for a body in motion is the finest companion to a mind in flight.
